Guns I want to buy before the end of 2008

I'm an impulse buyer, so I have no idea what I'll be getting next year.

Possibles are the TC/ Icon and new model 70. I've also got a fascination with the weatherby MkV in 257 wby. I'm always on the prowl for deals in the EE. A Savage 340 in 22 Hornet, or a Ruger 77 in 44 mag would be interesting as well. One of these days I'm gonna order me a Cooper, but first I need to decide on a cartridge (I'm thinking k-hornet, or maybe 17 AH).
 
I'm with Prosper on this one. I have a great difficulty in planning what I will buy this year.

I'm tempted by many Europen rifles and shotguns. I'd like to own a Voere Titan II, a 98-based Dumolin, a couple more Sako L61R's, and for sure a Finnwolf. But, I've also been afflicted with the custom rifle bug, and would really like to add another Dakota to my collection.

Calibres. Well, I'm facinated by the 9.3's, feel I need both a 375 H&H and at least a .416, would like to add a .280 AI, and should replace the .25 calibre I sold last year.

I'm also suffering a shotgun addiction. I have to add another semi-auto 12 guage, am very attracted to classy double triggered side-by-sides and over/unders, and don't have a 20 guage yet.

Likely, I'll add two or three new firearms to the collection, but I can't say what they will be until I find them.
 
Id do something along the lines of what Supercub suggested

a left hand CDL in 30-06, restocked with a McMillan or similar high quality fiberglass stock, talley rings, and a 3-9x40 Leupold or similar.

165 grain TSX @ 2800 fps = perfect for anything

that would be around 2 grand
