guns in .22WMR?

aside from the Kel-tec PMR-30 and the few revolvers (Ruger single six, Alpha Proj) what else is out there? :confused:

I'm open to both rifle and pistol suggestions.

The shorty stevens I had was in .22mag and fun. Pretty much any bolt action .22lr will have a .22mag brother.
.22mag semi seem far less common.
 
Expensive shooting .22 Mag.
Savage Model 93 line. They made a Model 65 long ago too. Remington M597. Marlin 925M. Henry H001M. Taurus Model 941. Do a net search.
 
Yes, expensive to shoot and right now 22 WMR is more scarce than 22 LR.

I can order cases of 17 Hornady and 17 WMR and the cost of rounds is about where the 22 WMR was when it was in stock. Maybe something to look at (the 17 cals) in rifles if you are simply looking for more speed than a 22 LR will give you in a rimfire rifle.
 
hey guys, didn't ask about availability of the ammo. I want to know what's out there for .22WMR firearms. I'm mostly interested in pistols to be honest, but rifles are okay too.

are there any DA/SA revolvers that allow you to swap cylinders between .22LR and .22WMR?
 
Taurus makes a DA revolver with both cylinders, I've had my eye on one, waiting for my rpal, I think they're the only DA? A few companies make a SA, I think the ruger is the most common. I have a bunch of 22lr rifles and savage 93G. I've heard the 22wmr is more accurate out of the duals as the 22wmr has slightly larger bore. When I was looking for my mag, I wanted a Marlin xt 22m, but couldn't find in wood, so I got the savage for around $250 new
 
If I read the question right, then CZ offers .22 mag rifles. I have a 455 American. It is accurate and hammers gophers.
 
so, aside from a few revolvers and the PRM-30, there are no other .22WMR pistols?

I've secured access to cases of .22WMR for about $0.20/shot...so I'm also debating whether I should buy that Sig clone in 7.62x25 and buy cases of that ammo, as it works out to be $0.20/round as well. :p
