Dated 1957. That 450 Mag on 375 case sounds a lot like the Lott.

That 450 mag, is probably 450 Ackley magnum. I think the lott showed up in the early 70s.

I wouldn't mind a few of those FN Mauser barrelled actions for 75 bucks a pop.

At an average wage of $1.75 an hour these are still a lot of money. As for the carved stocks, like the Winslow of the 60s, I’ll pass. So ornate and flashy there are ugly.

I once owned a 1977 Gun Digest and it highlighted virtually identical rifles.

This is a real beauty in .375 HH Mag.and I have shot under 1 in. groups at 100 yd.

While growing up in Dartmouth a friend down the street his father, a car salesman, owned a rifle very very similar to yours.
Of course his was in 303 Brit a P-14 as the basis.
