Guns you have always wanted but not necessarily needed

My LGS had a 2bbl set with the two short options, just prior to 12(6) prohibition. Was out of my budget because I saved up to pay for the PPK/S I ordered and never got.

To the question, lately I have an eye for what seem like correct rifle/cartridge combos that just evoke an entire storyline or history together in my imagination.

Win M70FW in .270
Rem 700BDL in 7mmRM
Quigley Sharps in 45/70
Something caplock .50 like a Hawken or something

I've satisfied that particular craving with other guns/rounds in the past, I enjoy that aspect a lot.

I have absolutely no need for anything in my safe other than my .22LR 6.5x55 and 3006. Buuut I have more so anything above and beyond that line up would be wishing, and I wish a lot .

Winchester pre '64 safari in 375 H&H mag with a 1x6 Swarovski scope. Always wanted one since I was a kid and seen one in a guns & ammo Magazines. Never had a need for one, probably never make it to Africa or go after big bear.
But I almost bought one on here 10+ years ago. But didn't pull the trigger.
