Guns you have always wanted but not necessarily needed

To the question, lately I have an eye for what seem like correct rifle/cartridge combos that just evoke an entire storyline or history together in my imagination.

Win M70FW in .270
Rem 700BDL in 7mmRM
Quigley Sharps in 45/70
Something caplock .50 like a Hawken or something

I've satisfied that particular craving with other guns/rounds in the past, I enjoy that aspect a lot.

Two rifles I thought I never needed but had wet dreams over are (I own both) are 2 Remington 788s in 30-30 and 44 magnum.
I use them every year.

Winchester pre '64 safari in 375 H&H mag with a 1x6 Swarovski scope. Always wanted one since I was a kid and seen one in a guns & ammo Magazines. Never had a need for one, probably never make it to Africa or go after big bear.
But I almost bought one on here 10+ years ago. But didn't pull the trigger.

MS 1903 6.5x54 M-S.

IMI Timberwolf .357 Magnum.

I did buy both by paying the asking prices.

One that I never found, Paris Theodore 9mm ASP pistol.

Browning M2
MG42 or MG3.....
M249 or C9.....
M240L (or M240B, I suppose)....
M134.....
Fightlite belt-fed upper for AR15s....

Mostly actual machineguns. Oh, and a Dragunov and a GM-6 Lynx.

Guess I'm never getting any of them.

The only two firearms I needed, and do have, is the 30-06 and the12 gauge. The rest of fireams I have, are what I wanted, and I'm not done yet!
