The last article I read about Gunsite got old real quick, as they were pounding the
"forward mounted scout style is by far the best system ever designed" crap.

Gunsite Academy, Inc. has recently been advised by the united States Government that we must modify our policies and procedures for the acceptance of foreign nationals in our training classes. As a result, the following policies are in effect.
OVERSEAS TRAININ
Gunsite Academy, Inc. will not conduct firearms training outside the United States unless requested by the United States Government.
FOREIGN MILITARY: Gunsite Academy, Inc. will train foreign military personnel from United States Government approved countries at our facility in Paulden, Arizona if the persons to be trained are active duty or active reserve military members and their training has been requested by their military organization.
FOREIGN CIVILIAN: Gunsite Academy, Inc. will not train foreign civilian personnel at our school in Paulden, Arizona, unless;
(A) The person requesting training submits a completed application package to Gunsite, and,
(B) The application includes a letter from the United States State Department approving the applicant for firearms training in the United States.

I took a pistol course there in 1996 before the US became very silly with this Homeland Security Paranoia, is was a pretty cool course tought by Bank Miller who went to start and lead the Sig Arms Acadamy, but from what I have been told, the operations of Gunsite have changed drastically for the worse over the last bunch of years. If you want to take a good rifle course and can manage to get on one in the US, the Blackwater rifle course is awsome, it is taught by Norm Chandler and Jim Reifinger also there is a school Texas called Rifles Only, they are very good rifle instructors.
