Hey guys,

Broke down and trade a couple guns around. Ended up aith a new SR-22....soooo

Being addicted to my VQ trigger group, barrel etc on my other 10/22. Is there a one stop shop to send this gun to for a barrel, compensator, , VQ goodies and trigger group install? Or is it easier to source all the parts and send them to a competent smith?

I hear the SR-22's are a ##### to take apart on your own, and I prefer not to wreck anything.

Do it yourself!!!!!!!!!!! I am not familiar with the SR 22 differences but enough guys on here have modded the #### outta them so cant be that difficult! I just did my VQ hammer today, and it aint that hard! 20 minutes and a youtube video is all it takes!

My SR-22 stripped down just fine... Don't believe the horror stories...

The 10/22 is probably one of the most documented and easiest guns to work on. Just buy everything yourself and install it yourself. Easy peasy.

Bits and Pieces can supply you with a threaded barrel, as can FabSports, a sponsor above. Learn to take it apart. You will need to anyhow for cleaning and maintenance. Great choice on a rifle. 10/22 and Nordic stock, how can you go wrong?

If I get time to do it myself I'd like to give it a whirl first....I'll see if mine is as bad as some have said with the damn factory Loctite and such...I just figured if I was sending it away to have the barrel changed I might as well get it all done at once.

I'm also away to work so much these days finding time at home is hard enough (for family) let alone spending time by myself working on a rifle.....my wife might figuratively shoot me....;)

If you want to source everything and ship it all to Ontario....I can do it for you. ;) :D
