Anyone have a suggestion for a good gunsmith for a Cynergy? Gun is out of warranty. Has been flawless for years, but I'm now having a lot of FTFs with various brands of shells.

Are you experiencing the FTF's on your second shot? And have you ever sprayed a bit of Rem Oil into the firing pin holes? I put that little yellow straw the rem oil comes with on and give the pins a little spray now and again on my over unders that are a pain to remove the stock. On my newer ones with easier access to the stock bolt(hole through recoil pad for wrench) I simply remove the stock and clean and lube the parts in the receiver. Works wonders.

The action is clean. Both firing pins were replaced at about 25,000 rounds.

Issue started withe the lower barrel, now affecting upper as well. Firing order does not matter.

Most disturbing, if first barrel is just a click the trigger does not appear to be set for the second barrel. It's mechanical so it should be.

You are correct. The Cynergy is a pistol trigger setup, not Inertia. I would PM Cat in the hat. He might know of a person

fyio, that's referred to as mechanical triggers. biggest differance is the shotgun doesn't have to be bumped or shot to reset the firing pins.

My XT Trap is experiencing light strikes so I've ordered a firing pin and hammer spring kit from J and P.
When your firing pins were replaced, were the springs replaced too?
I've read that after some time, weak springs are quite common on the Citoris. Not sure with the Cynergy.

Wade, take it to Ross's and have Chris fixed it while you wait, they should have any parts you may need in stock, actual while you wait, take a stroll thru the fine gun room and pick out your Perazzi, I think I saw one with your name on it last week!!!
