Soon to be an owner of a stevens favorite in .22lr that has a shot out barrel.

Anyone know of any gunsmith in canada that would be able to do a barrel liner on the thing? There are reproduction barrels in the US but I can't seem to get them shipped up here.

thanks

Guntech on here (CGN) has done several of them for me including a single shot rolling block. He did outstanding work for me.

PM me for his email address if you like.

Yup, Guntech does great work.

If you want to bring in a reproduction barrel from the US, I RUN GUNS, a banner sponsor can do it for you at reasonable prices.

Thanks everyone.

Just contacted Guntech, and it appears that he's been unable to get his hands on any new Barrel Liners due to a hefty export tax tagged onto them. Does anyone know if theres any shops in Canada that supply these?

Just talked to Ron Smith, looking at around $175 for the liner if I decide to go along with it. Just going to wait and see what my options are for the meantime.

I don't believe that price includes installation???

If you can actually talk Mr Smith into installing that liner, you can bet it will be done properly.
