Are there any gunsmiths in Canada that work on restoring Winchester 94's? I am looking for a gunsmith to help restore a Winchester 1894. By the serial number it was made in 1919. I need the upper tang welded, I goofed and while removing surface rust, removed the stock and broke the tang.
I am in New Brunswick and have a lead on a gunsmith in Maine who specializes in Winchester 94's but I am not sure it would be possible to get the gun to him and it would probably need lots of forms and red tape. I would rather keep it on in Canada. Any leads would be appreciated.
