Gunsmith in Calgary?

D,]

I have a new CZ75B. In single action mode, with the hammer fully cocked, when I squeeze the trigger very slowly it'll allow me to pull the trigger all the way back but doesn't release the hammer. When I squeeze it with a little bit of a jerk, it'll fire no problem.

As well, when I release the trigger to what sounds like the trigger reset point (there's a loud click) and squeeze it again, it won't fire (same as above). In both cases, the hammer does move a little bit back like its going to release but seems to get hung up on what looks like the sear (at least that's what it looks like from the parts picture in my manual). I can get it to fire by releasing the trigger all the way and trying again.

I'm just wondering whether this will smooth out with use or whether I should start looking for a gunsmith. The pistol has about 300 rounds through it at this point. It's also still covered by the warranty but I was hoping to get it fixed without having to send it away for an extended period.

Any thoughts?

guns are funny things esp under warranty- chances are if you don't want your warranty to be voided, you HAVE to send it to at least an approved shop, probably a warranty depot- it SHOULD have worked right out of the box, first time- no need to jerk
