Looking for help finding a very reliable gunsmith to mount trijicon ghost rings on a brand new Remington 870 marine magnum.

I got totally ripped off by K&S Arms. He did the most amateur glass bedding job on my custom rifle I have ever seen (charged me $ 80for a job where the action was leaning forward and the barrel was touching the forend in a (previously) fully free floated barrel channel). I complained and wanted it redone, but he would not warranty his work without charging me...again...WTF !? Karl is a total jerk and I would never recommend him.

I ended up re-bedding the action myself, and for a rookie effort, it turned out 100 times better than what KS did.

Lock and Load have been very good in my experience. Also, I don't hesitate to send it away (and I pretty much do now-a-days). There are many qualified gunsmiths in Canada, and shipping via canada post couldn't be easier. There are a several highly recommended 'smiths here on CGN.

K&S didn't impress me. He charged 125 bucks to mount some iron sights on a mauser barrel. I supplied the sights and screws, he just drilled and tapped four holes. It took a month to get it done. He would not give me a price before hand, just a ballpark figure of 80 -100 verbally. Then when I pick it up, he says 125- cash only, no receipts are issued. This was from the owner (Karl I think, german accent). Smells Fishy as hell, I will never go back.
