Gunsmith in the Kingston Area

Winchester M100, rails on the trigger group assembly that lead forward to the front where the mag catch and the connecting point for the assembly to the receiver is. These rails are slighly bent which is causing the receiver to shift upwards slightly in the back at the recoil plate(?). This shifting leads to the gun jamming and sometimes causing the mag to release. There are 2 points where the gun is secured into the stock; the fore end ahead of the gasblock and behind the trigger guard. The receiver and trigger group are held together forward of the magazine just above where the mag release is.

I originally thought the issue lied elsewhere until I stripped down my other 100 and compared every detail of the 2 and found the bent rails. The bend is minor and the same on both sides but enough to cause the shift when firing. I think they could be straightened out by hand in a vise but I'd rather not try that unless I was 100% certain it won't weaken the rails and cause further problems.

I can post photos for clarification later if need be.
