Like the post says .. I am looking for a good smith in the Hamilton (Ontario) area to have some work done. Found a smith and got some work done, needless to say I wasn't terribly impressed with the last fellas skills. (A scope mount installed canted so badly I could not zero the scope for windage on a nice old milsurp :/) got my money back and more so thats not the issue(I will not name the individual as I cannot attest to work he has done for others...this may be an isolated incident? He was very sincere easy to deal with after his mistake and remedied the situation financially...immediately. His honesty in his mistake and his tact in dealing with the situation deserves my respect...we all make mistakes#..)#
Regardless of compensation I would prefer to move on and find someone else to spend my hard earned with.Just looking for a good a good smith for future work and projects (restricted as well) someone that you have used and are happy with??
