Gunsmith (pistolsmith) in Edmonton area?...

I know, there are already threads with this same subject, but I have a friend looking to have some 1911 specific work done in the Edmonton area? He lives in Sherwood Park. Looking to have some low-mount Novak's installed, as well as some cross dovetail front sights installed. I suggested Gunnar, but he'd like to stay within his province if possible...

Any Edmontonians out there happy with the 1911 work they've had perfomed in their area? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If all he wants is sights then just about any gunsmith could accomplish it since you only have to send the slide the most it will cost is another 15 bucks for the shipping. Lock and load are good but very slow (11 months to do a trigger job on a 1911) so if he wants it quickly then I would go with as you suggested Gunnar or Bits of Pieces.
