To anyone considering this position, Korth Group is an excellent operation with dedicated and committed personnel from the top to the bottom. I have dealt with this company from a personal and business relationship for over 20 years and they are at the top of my list for distributors. Phil.

It’s a tough go to get qualified folks with that starting wage. I just turned down a trades camp job that paid $100K or so. Sure, I would have jumped on it if I wasn’t working already, but with in town trades doing $70-$80K, they have some options.

I pay my truck drivers 30/ hr and I'm certainly not the highest in the area by any means.

Starting first year apprentice is about that much.... But there's clear progression in the trade. Gunsmith in Canada is not that clear
 
$22/hr? Really? As far as mechanical trades go you can easily make double that as a millwright, apprentices start at well over that.
Didn't realize gunsmiths qualified as "starving artists".
 
We have labourers on construction sites sweeping floors for $25,-/h and up.

$22,- for a skilled tradesman? Is this a friggin joke?

Starting level, show yer werth............wartcher grow.

Most big corps only offer part time work.
Iff'in you can't figure this out, go push buggies.
