I've been collecting parts and planning to build a Rem 600 338 federal and had Rob at Wise Choice lined up to do the smithing. We had discussed it when he did my last 600 build, very happy and great guy!
I finally got my barrel and Rob has closed up shop. Any recommendations?
I realize Epps is local and I've given them lots of business over the years but not sure anymore. Maybe a backup plan (Online says they do have 338 Fed reamer)
Plan to have it Cerakoted as well so I would consider sending it to a shop that could possibly do it all (coating included). A friend has recommended DC Gunsmithing in NB. Looks like they do smith work and Cerakoting. Anyone have experience?
