Gunsmith required in the Toronto/GTA area.

I am looking for a gunsmith in the Toronto/GTA area to replace a butt plate on a 20 ga. Citori shotgun.

I was considering ordering the part from Browning and doing the install myself but a note on the website indicates that the part must be fitted by Browning service Department or qualified gunsmith.
Is this because the actual butt plates are shipped a little larger than the stock and it is ground/sanded down to the actual size of the butt stock?
Anyone had any experience with this?

Never heard of it. Should be a factory OEM replacement part. I suspect the disclaimer is a blanket catch all.

Looking on Midway the part is 6.99 USD and says"Disassembly and assembly may be required and some parts may require installation by a qualified gunsmith."

The one review says it's a hassle free experience.

You need a suitable pad and a guy that can grind it to fit, OEM part not required or worth the effort as it will not fit properly anyway as per the disclaimer. Wood moves.
