What is it with gunsmiths?? They always jerk everyone around!!! And give you attitude !!! And expect us to pay for bad service. A buddy had a gun at one of the local smiths and they lost his gun??? It eventually reappeared. I just buy a new gun!!!!

I bought a Rifle from Epps the bolt face needs some warrenty work I phoned Epps, I talked to a guy that must have had to go to the bathroom or something didn't want to talk to me at all told me to mail the rifle that was three weeks ago I have phoned 4 times never did get a straight answer, he's not in, can't find the order. Now they don't answer the phone at all and their email box is full all I have is one question

Will I get my new rifle back for moose on Nov. 15? its not a hard question yes or no will do

This will be my first and last purchase here

Sir / Madam:

Can you E-mail me some details about your firearm so that I can look in to this matter for you?

Your statement concerning our E-mail box being full is concerning, since I answer the E-mails from Ellwood Epps and have not seen any request from you regarding this matter.

Please forward your information to info@ellwoodepps.com and I will see if I can determine the cause of the delay with regard to the servicing of your rifle.

Sir / Madam:

As requested of Bat119, we would require more details than you have provided here if we are to look into the status of your rifle. Please contact our gunsmiths directly by E-mail at gunsmith@ellwoodepps.com. They will require your name, the make and model of your gun, and the situation you have experienced with this firearm so that they can provide the information you require.

Michel:

I did receive your earlier E-mail from this morning, and am in the process of looking into this matter for you. Our gunsmith is out of the store at the moment, but I should have a response for you by mid-day tomorrow.

Your continued patience is most appreciated.

One of the main problems with gunsmithing is if parts need to be ordered and you have a dead line. Sending a gun in for smithing a month before a hunting trip is a disaster waiting to happen. Plus most gunsmiths are so backed up, they may have your gun for a month before they can even look at it. Best advice for testing work down is wait till after hunting season when time is not a factor.

but they told me they not have any other thing to do , have a time for my rifle.
I will probably be forced to contact my lawyer about my rifle , no news on 4 mounth without nothing .
is the last day i wait for something .
Ellwood Epps always give me what i wanted ..... except now

I recall ellwood epps friday november 1 , and like i say the guy i talk with, tell me they not know what happen with my rifle , he know is supposly done but have to past a test at the range 25 october .... after that he no have news on my rifle , he suject to me to wait monday and call to talk with the Manager . What i gonna do .

I ear the gunsmith are not ellwood epps part but a separed industries .... i not know if is right or not but if is right that not ellwoods epps fault .
