I had ATRS thread a muzzle for me and the bill was $200 so yes they charge a premium. For A grand I can buy a floating reamer holder, a couple of tool holders and inserts And do it myself and save some $$

For $150 I will true a 700 action, if you want the bolt "bumped" that is another $75. To thread, chamber, headspace, cut and crown is $275. I leave the barrel polished, I do not paint. Stock work would be additional. Postage both ways would be less than $100 I expect.

How about not posting B.S.? If you don't know what you are talking about shut up! Do you have some agenda that makes you grossly inflate numbers in order to discourage others from making an informed decision?

We do NOT charge $1000.00 to true an action , thread, chamber, crown and engrave a barrel. You are correct that we only do things the right way which includes making certain the action is true in ALL respects, not just a few areas. This does take more time and skill so does mean a higher cost compared to a simple thread, chamber and screw it on job.
Our labour rate to properly rebarrel most rifles is $700.00
