gunsmith to rebarrel highwall

Hi,

I'm looking for recommendations for a gunsmith to fit a barrel to a Winchester 1885. Ideally someone within an 8 hour drive of the BC lower mainland.

I think a lot of people familiar with the Winchester 1885 have retired and I'd like someone with some experience to fit a Ron Smith 32-40 octagonal barrel to an 1885 action.

I've heard that Chris Wilcox in Cherryville might be a good choice. Any other suggestions?

Ralf Martini has done a few barrels for me ranging from 1885s to Alex Henry and Farquharsons. All were excellent!

+1 recommendation for Paul, he re-barreled a 73' trapdoor for me, he cut a tapered octagon profile in a 33" blank made by another well known barrel maker ~ who's name escapes me ATM ~
