Need the services of a gunsmith with expertise in old English Doubles: specifically expertise in resolving ejector timing problems. Anyone know of a reputable gunsmith in Western Canada ? Any ideas would be most helpful !

If your gun has forend mounted ejectors, of which there are several dozen patented types, you have a chance of finding an experienced gunsmith to deal with them. If your gun has Greener body mounted ejectors contained within the action or a variation of these you are in big trouble. There are only about five people in the country who really understand them and can make them work properly, three of them are retired and the other two are at least three years behind in their work. Also be aware that more Greener ejector problems are caused by inexperienced tinkering with these problems by well meaning gunsmiths than by breakage or wear.
