Wondering if there might be someone that works on the Old Savage, Stevens Marksman No.12. single.

Could maybe rummage through a old parts bin...

Seemed to have misplaced the other half of my firing pin.

OD is 4.7mm

I have one....it’s for a rifle l’m redoing.....looks homemade! I think you can still get them out of the states. Or make a new one , out of drill rod.
I have another rifle , if you need measurements, to make a new one , I think would be factory made, and could be used (for measurements), if need be.

I took your advice (and other that pm'd) and made one out of a old drill bit.

Won't be able to test till after I clean the rest of rifle up.
Lot of crud inside. Although it looks well used, everything seems to work.

Thx to all for the suggestions.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Here's some pics of the Marksmen 12 .25RF cleaned up a bit.
I know some members will say "Should just leave an antique rifle alone, It depreciates the value"
Don't care. Working on old rifles gives me piece of mind. Don't plan on selling any of them.

I have a Stevens 044 1/2 chambered for Stevens 25.21. I would like to find just one round of ammunition to have with the rifle!

Not sure you can ship brass North...but I heard Rocky Mountain Cartridge LLC has brass.

Could call and ask.

Found a un-opened pack of Canuck.25rf Stevens longs from a member...(Remi 22lr golden on top for comparison with some loose .25rf shorts & longs).

Here's my next project. Stevens Little Scout

Nice little rifle, I’ve got one in 32, and another, that was rebarrled in 22...works good. I was looking around the other day and came across some 25 RF, in lead and some shot shell rounds.....haven’t seen shot shell rounds in awhile! Maybe time to start looking for a 25 RF model.
Keep up the good work!
