Be sure to get lots of photos before purchasing. All sides (smoothed to see the grain), length, thickness and straightness. Lots of wood out there that looks nice, but will cause havoc down the road.
Earlier I posted a nice piece I just received, its looking like a flub after digging into it ($1400 later). Lesson learnt from a learning stock maker, but least it should look pretty.
The next piece I order will be from a reputable blank source.
