What's the CGN report on the G7 Ballistic range finder? Lookin to upgrade from ol trusty scout 1000

A friend of mine has one. Seems to give reliable reading, works in most conditions and has very nice glass for a rangefinder. $1700 is a bargain for the people that like MOA and like all the bells and whistles of a "do it all" rangefinder with ballistic compensating software.

Excellent device especially for multiple firearms. Optics could be better on it. If your the slightest bit color deficient give it a pass as the display is a bit washed which makes it hard to read.

Wish I could find it for 1700..haven't seen anything less than 2k...Grouse River seems to be the only supplier in Cda

They are the only importer of the g7 in Canada. It's too bad they don't have any competition cause they are great range finders.

Picked up the g7 br2...spot on ballistics...ranged a garage across a lake at almost 2700 yards!
