Gunwerks New Dangerous Game Rifle

their long range niche is a good one. Stick with that.

I tend to agree, but I think their target market for this rifle will be the guy that already owns at least one Gunwerks rifle and wants to have a comparable rifle chambered in something bigger.

I don't see it replacing all the Ruger Alaskans and Africans in the hands of hunters, guides and PH's. :)

The most overrated, overpriced gun company out there, I just whisper, sucker, when I think of the guy with too much money thinking he's a long range Hunter, and now a dangerous game Hunter . Good for them $$

1- I used to think Gunwerks was a ridiculous company, with ridiculous prices.
2- I do not own one of their products, nor will I be able to for a long time.
3- I have no affiliation to them.

Now looking into them more, their prices make more sense. Still paying a chunk for the name but the prices make a lot more sense. They do not offer a product for the average 5 shots per year guy. They have put some pretty good advancements into stock design, they put time in hunting Africa and other parts of the world annualy, so I can only presume they have some good thought and experience into the product. Personally I find the mix of carbon fibre and wood strange, not my bag.
I have never hunted Africa so i cannot speak to that much. However from those I know who do frequent Africa, 375. Ruger would make me pretty comfortable. I have used excessive power on some game with sub optimal results, and also "too-little" power on some game according to others with excellent results.

But I am unqualified on the subject anyways, just proficient in sometimes jumping to unfounded conclusions and proving my lack of knowledge. One day I hope to hunt Africa though!
