gut-less eye fillet method n short hunt vid

Geeez, man. Yer draggin' the poor beast backwards!

Just how much more work d'ya wanna make it?

A short piece of rope, truss the forelegs behind the head, and sled it onwards!

:)

Seriously, nice haul!

Do you have any limits on the harvests you can take of these fine looking beasts? Annually, monthly, daily?

I kinda like maximizing my take on the critters, so usually, before I even bother to drag the thing away, I dump out the guts and save myself that weight. The hide at least keeps it from getting TOO chopped up going overland.
I'll typically only move the critter to have it's head uphill, then open it from chin to arse, cut around the diaphragm, and then pull out the whole of the interior out over the lowest point, across the pelvis.

I always save the heart, usually the liver (though I don't particularly like it, I know folks that do!) and only have to drag the carcass home or out to the roadside. Less weight is better, when dragging!

hi there.
il try get around the questions.

Yeah backwards sucks cos the hair makes it harder to slide, so i did appear to try turn it around rather quick before sliding down the grass.

No take limits on animals yearly, monthly, weekly or daily basis.

i left it as is , as i was hunting with guys who had never seen a deer on the ground before, so that whole, animal laying at their feet and i had them, or one in particular Cut it up.... he also has difficulty after an incident where he ripped arms an legs off an had things sewn back on, so his hand for example isnt like ours, so id rather he learnt hands on , than via a youtube video :)

but yep apart from those specifics, you're correct with the rest :) and i understand.
