Guy on youtube shoots himself with a Glock

From the description, it is a 17C converted to Full Auto.

You can also read that the receiver/accessory rail broke but it is said to be a operator error!LOL!

range rules

our ranges only allow 5 shots per string, also the guy walks away carrying the gun? hes outta my range!rules are rules!

I think this might be a repost, or maybe I just spend too much time on youtube.

Anyways, isn't it recommended that these handle acccessories not be used on the rail???

IMO, the guys an idiot, he should just learn the proper two hand grip

Oh it is certainly a repost.

I think that the real blame should go to the idiot who let him try it.

It appears that he has little understanding of what he is doing.

Bad coaching leads to crap like this.

Good point, I sometimes take for granted what I didn't know when I was first shooting. Lucky for me, the guys at my gun club were more than happy to help, and more than qualified :)

Is it a full auto, or he was just bump firing and shot himself.

The caption says converted auto.

On another note, I was going to buy a glock for my first pistol and I noticed the rail and commented to the sales clerk. "it comes with a rail" he looked me in the face and said, "yes, a light rail". Now I know why he emphasized "light rail". I don't think it is suited for shooting with that accessory and fully auto.

"this accident was complete user error, he basically held the front grip tight and did not hold the gun tight enough when it recoiled he was pushing forward on the grip so hard that it broke off the gun. it actually broke a chuck out of the bottom of the Glocks receiver...... I just see allot of arm chair commandos that don't really know what there talking about making comments and I just wanted to set the records straight. "

Stupid user, stop ripping the receiver apart with your fingers!

Yet again another low dollar ignorant "accessory" proves just how useless is really is. Its a Glock, its a handgun, use one or both hands on the grip. The rail is for lights. Too bad stupid people like this aren't lucky enough to remove themselves from the gene pool.

At least the newbie shooter has an excuse - he didn't know any better. The owner of that pistol, on the other hand, is a total dumbass. Anyone who has ever held a Glock knows how flimsy the plastic dustcover is. It wasn't designed to have the foregrip attached to it. It's no wonder that thing broke off.

The lesson to be learned here is that using a gun with an accessory that it wasn't designed to be used with is just asking for trouble.
