Good evening gents, I have tried Western Gun Parts with no luck. Besides the EE and Western and other good sources to find a front blade sight for a 20's vintage SRC?
Thanks

If Mad Dog doesn't find his, as suggested by superbrad get in touch with Wild Bill. I've delt with him.
Ok
I think I've got one here but not 100%.
It measures out right on the height and has a 3/8" dovetail and gold bead. Only thing is that it's not marked Lyman 31 on it anywhere.
I think the one that Mad Dog has is not the right one, by the sound of it.
Joe, the pre 1920 Model 1894 that I have has a two piece front sight. The doe tail has a slot in it and the blade fits into the slot and is held by a pin.
I made the blade for one. I sawed a blade out of a piece of brass, but an old copper penny, one cent piece, is better to work with.

Try these guys, I have purchased lots of stuff, great guys. www.homesteadparts.com
