max is realivent to each specific rifle i r could veyry a grain or two either wayWhat kind of accuracy do you get with those 55s and do you find 25.0 is the max?

I use the same recipe and it works well.I load 223 with 25gr of H335 using 55 gr Cam Pro bullets with good results. Works good with Berrys and Hornady bullets too
They are used in all my semi auto 223 rifles
So what is the most accurate load that you have ever found with H335 in a .223 if you don`t mind me asking?H335 is a decent spherical powder if you know its limitations and how to load with it (faster burning, narrow range from mild to wild, best with lighter bullets in .223, really benefits from uniform neck tension / crimping and cannelured bullets).
I wouldn't compare a spherical ball powder with an extruded powder, nor would I expect them to perform the same - even if they are in the same burn range.
There it is.One more vote for 25 grains of H335 under a 55 grain bullet stuffed into a .223 case. It has been my standard "bulk" load for a couple decades and like others have said performs quite acceptably out of semi autos at ranges from 100 - 300 yards. A huge plus is that the powder meters so well and I'm able to really crank out rounds on my Dillon 1050 press.
That said, once the game changes from plinking, running & gunning, or blasting gophers or coyotes, I've always had to look elsewhere to wring out the last bit of accuracy from a rifle. Fortunately, I've always found that Varget has been the solution for precision work or service rifle matches -- but that's always with a 68 or 75 grain bullet. But I've yet to own a .223 that won't shoot exceptionally well with that powder.
None of the above should be interpreted to mean that H335 isn't able to produce exceptional accuracy though. I have a .222 Rem that shoots bug holes with that powder under a 40 grain ballistic tip.
Ok. I started at 25.5 and working my way up but just wondering since almost 100% of the posts I read on the internet are 24-25.5 gr with a 50-55 gr projectile.I’m using 27.7 of CFE 223 with a 55 gr ballistic tip. Works very well and under 1/2” groups
