Im loading some new brass in 223 with h335.
When i get data from the hodgdon website for this powder i cant find my 55 grain vmax listed in bullets choice.
It just lists 55gr sfire or spr sp.
They do show 60 gr vmax.
Im unsure which data to use or will hodgdon be able to help me if i contact them.
 
Just use the 55grain data... That's what I did - as long as you start low and work up, you'll be fine.

Been using H335 and 55 vmax for a long time... however, since I can find it again, I'm moving to AA2230, as my recipe for that powder works a little better in my Tikka.

I"ve used that combination for years with mine. I can't remember the load, but it is .5 grains below the data for a 55 gr bullet from the Hornady Magazine style data manual I bought 6-7 years ago.

Very accurate in my gun.
 
But heres my dilema one load only has 1.4 grains range and the other is 2.3 grains range.
If i use higher data will it overload? Same as lower recipe underloading,,,im a newbie and wanna be safe.
 
My Hornady 7th edition gives a min -max of 20.8 to 23.2 for H335 in the 223 and all their 55 gr bullets. Velocities range from 2800 to 3100.
 
My Sierra charts from 6mmbr, specifically for the ar 15 list H335 @ 23.6 grs start to 25.7 grs max with 55 gr bullets. I have been using 24.5 grs for years in my ar
 
Well the data im getting is 55 gr sfire 21.4-22.8
55 gr spr sp is 23-25.3
Im not sure what the vmax falls under soft point i believe so i guess i could start at 23 grains?
 
^^^^^^ Have the same numbers.

My load for my rifle is 25.3gr of H335, which is max listed in my manual. Case and bolt don't show any pressure signs at this.
