H&K 308 gas piston AR

Forget it - even the yanks can't buy these. HK "policy"
The policy is one of the German government, not HK. There's a law in Germany that states that German gunmakers cannot sell "military-style" semi-auto rifles to civilians (including civilians in other countries). That's the reason why they had to come up with the fugly SL-8 contraption instead of simply selling semi-auto G36's.

Would have thought there was an argument for non-restricted classification. It uses what appears to be the G36 gas piston system, and the full size G36 is non-restricted. While the fire control parts are AR!5/M16, so are the parts on a number of guns that are non-restricted, so that shouldn't by itself effect the class. Now if appearances have anything to do with it.... well we all know common sense can fly right out the window.

what's common sense have to do with it??

Aint that the truth.

Sacrifice 2 chickens to the CFC Gods and maybe it will be non-restricted.
Then it will be a non-restricted gun nobody can buy or will get sold to westicle for 6k
