H&k g36

There are a few real semi-auto G36s around. Cough up big $$ if you want one.
The other option is the SL-8. It can be dressed up to look like a very convincing G36 clone.

As mentioned, a genuine G36 in Semi-only will be around 9k due to the rarity of these guns.

The SL8 is readily available and much more affordable (2.5k), but is esthetically not quite the same.

You can convert these to look more like an original G36, and will see well don conversions pop up from time to time. If they have had the barrel threaded and turned to G36 profile, and have a folding stock/correct optics (rather than a picatinny rail), you can expect to pay around 4k.

Yeah pretty much the G36 is very limited numbers in Canada.

Best bet is pick up the SL8 above (you can find them here for around 1800ish every now and again) And dress it up to look like this:

At first glance you wont be able to tell the difference. The giveaway is the stock block.

To go from the SL8 to that you're looking roughly 4-5Kish depending on sourcing parts.

Give him a break,
Yes, their not worth $20,000. (I'd say $2500 just like the SL8)
BUT in his defense, there's 4-6 real G36's in Canada. Their price wont be going lower then $10,000 ever again.

Sure I wont buy one, maybe someone will.

There are way more then 6 G36s in Canada and the last few that sold went for less then 10K. I do see other G36s in civilian hands overseas in Europe despite the ban from HK so they are 'slipping out' to the commercial market all over the world. Also there has been a number of them imported into Canada more recently then the initial import for the 'movie armorer' that happened many years. They are no prohibited and completely importable so while there might be a small number of them in Canada currently, more will come in, albeit at a slow pace.

Then instead of whining about the asking price of anything, why don't you go and buy one of the other G36P rifles for sale?

Then you can make things "right" with CGN and let the rest of us know where we too can buy these mythical cheap G36 rifles.

Otherwise just take the thumb out of mouth and put your money where the thumb was.

This must be where he's going: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=airsoft:rolleyes:

Don't down play what he has to say. Electrobug has forgotten more about HK products than most people have ever known. If it's HK and in Canada, he knows about it.

That's fantastic, then he should be able to produce one of the plethora of cheap G36P, G36E, rifles then, shouldn't he?

Besides, that's what makes CGN great, is the free market place, not the complaining about someone else's asking price. The great thing is, we are allowed to ask what we want, not what someone else says what your stuff is worth. YOU decide. If it sells, great, if not, then it's up to the owner to decide what to do about the price. It's called capitalism.

I'm still in line, with my pocket of money, for all those cheap G36 rifles.

Oh BTW, I looked at an HK gun one time, so I've got an idea what they are, and value, as well. And Rich actually has touched one, so he too is an expert.
