Dispite the lack of help I got(always get) here in the rimfire forum i bought it.
Thank you sidvicious for the PM on what the HK300 is potentially worth.I couldn't believe a scope mount alone is worth $400,which came with the gun(no scope),and factory box,with a spare 15rd mag.

Congrats, you stole that gun!
I had one for many years, absolutely the most accurate .22 mag I ever shot. Flawless function, very cool gun, the scope mount is a work of art. If you like that Teutonic styling (I do!) you gotta love it.
The only negative comment I could make is that I found it impossible to achieve a comfortable cheek weld with that stock/scope mount combination.

I had the chance to play with one in 22lr, it was very, very nice. Well made and reliable. It's kind of neat how you could just pop-out the trigger group.
