H&K Mark 23

I was wondering about the Mark 23 as well. I heard from a Wild West employee that HK is going to stop making that particular model.

I would like to know some opinions on what experienced users think of it.

Offhand. It looks heavy, which kind of appeals to me, aside from the overall look to it. Is it worth buying?
 
I think that RL1 picked one up from Elwood Epps not too long ago, but don't quote me.
 
Burnov, I was there talking to them this week as well, and they told me the same thing. The pistol actually doesn't feel a lot bigger than the Tactical, but I don't know if it is worth the extra cash.

Yes I have one. Highly recommend it. Very accurate, just as much as my fully decked out race gun. I have no experience with the Expert/Elite etc, but from a cool factor and not seeing any around the 23 is a blast. As for price/ worth it? Well when you take it apart and its lying infront of you, well not much to it. So its a judgement call. I by the way bought it from Wild West, never handled one before, so abit of a gamble. If I had to sell, it would be one of my last to go. Shot over 2000 lead 200swc out of it. Remember when you ask for an option, they're like, well you know the expression. Good luck.
 
Thanks JOHNL, I think I'm going to have to pick one up for nother other reason other than because I want one. I have heard they are accurate, I guess I will find out.

Well as a Mark 23 owner, I have to say that I like the pistol alot, very accurate and a HK product, I have handled the tactical and it is in my opinion just as impressive. Once again in my veiw you can't go wrong owning either of these "fine works of art". Spoken like a true HK junkie.

Well, it seems unanimous that everybody either likes it, or wants one badly. I just called the shop and bought it. I'll let you know what it's like to shoot when I go down to pick up at beginning of January. Merry Christmas to me!
 
I just picked up one and I was wondering if anyone new if there was a special tac light and lazer combo made for it I heard there was somthing made especialy for it???
 
I bought Uncle Walthers HK Expert off of him, some of the best money I have ever spent. It almost makes me want to sell my 1911's (almost). I think I might have to add a Tactical to the collection in the spring.
