H&K Mark 23

problem with the mark 23...its tooooo big!!! and to much money for what you get... buy a USP

I actually found a used tactical for a fair price. I'm kicking the idea around of picking it up as well. That would definitely empty the gun account in a hurry.

yeah if the theives dont take them away im gonna add an Elite to the collection. I really like my base USP, its a pig that will feed anything. With the bushing it has that odd sort of recoil which gets soft on rapid fire. Sort of snappy in a sense, but you get use to it. Mines in 9mm. Sites are amazing, I had some idiot who snap shot it into the top of the range port...nothign like metal sites..no damage done..try that with a glock. Plus you got 1911 grip angles and controls.. what more could you want?

And you get a neat looking box with a big HK sticker on it.

YOu know if the thieves try and take my stuff...Im gonna see if I can get this thing dewatted and keep it as a paperweight...I like it that much.

Well I thought that at first, but once you see what you are getting, you won't be disappointed. A used tactical is a bargin. Go for It

yeah sure the Mark 23 is a pig...that could survive a million years...but isnt it fact that alot of US service personel have ditched it due to its large size? you dont have to sell me on the quality its basically a USP made 50% stronger...but for me..for the range..my USP is good enough..sides with the money left over...maybe I can buy somethign else..

all you need is some goods from Knights and your all set huh?

heaven help me, but I think I'm going to get the Tactical as well. I was going to buy a Kimber, but I would have to wait for some more money to roll in first. You know mildot, you are awfully hard on my pocketbook.

I shot a USP on course at HK, excellent pistol, great trigger. That said I made some decent head shots with my Mark 23 at a 100m. The weapon was designed for the SF, its just not fluff.

I actually would like one, but no money for it at this time. Trying to save up for a .40, maybe an Expert or an STI.

Nothing wrong with the STI. I shot a Ranger on the weekend, and put 5 shots into 1 1/8" at 25 yds. That said, it stove-piped once as well. To be fair though, it looked like it had not been cleaned in a while.

I am with johnl on this. Can we even order through the States? I have heard of stuff being turned away at the border. This should not be a problem because it is not a gun part, correct? If anyone knows of a Canadian distributor that would be a world better.

Desert Eagle Holsters also fight the Mark 23 really nice

I noticed that, when I bought it, I grabbed a Desert Eagle holster and it fit not to bad. I have a hip holster for my Desert Eagle, so I can use that, but I want a fitted thigh holster as well.
