Refer to title haha. Well just looking for the highest quality most reliable .308/7.62x39x51 rifle I can find (I've got an M14 already).

How come noone has mentioned Patriot Ordnance Factory?

They were around the 4K mark.

Mine will print 5 shots about 1-2" at 100 yards offhanded and I am a pretty poor shot.

The Questar staff have shot perhaps a little under that (being much better than me!):

Like everything, they are subject to availability.

+1 for the POF. I have one with the 16" barrel and the NP3 receiver. This is a consistent 1-1.5 MOA gun that runs flawlessly to boot!

you shoot moa at 100 yards, standing offhand?....and you are a poor shot....?

To the OP....maybe consider waiting on the Swiss Arms SAPR, if you are not in a hurry.

HK MR308, KAC SR-25, LMT and POF are all great choices. I'd say the MR308 is probably the most reliable; quality-wise they're all very close. The MR308 and SR-25 only have one barrel length (LMT and POF have different options) and the HK is probably the heaviest. The HK also requires proprietary HK magazines where the other 3 can run the standard .308 PMAGs. In terms of price, the KAC is the most expensive, followed by the HK, POF and then LMT.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the above.

Is anyone even offering the POF for sale anymore???

LMT and PWS are available at Questar. The prices are very competitive.

The Swiss arms SAPR is one hell of a rifle. Next paycheque I'm going to have enough saved up to put my name down on the list for one!

I am many paychecks away :(

I think I will not wind up buying a SAPR because if I save long enough for that, it will be a hell of a long time before I buy a black/green rifle. I will start with something cheaper.

Who knows maybe I will win the lottery.

From what I've seen MR308 looks pretty good, but it is restricted. I am hoping SAPR will be non restricted. May or may not be a consideration for the OP, for me I would prefer a non for the reduced hassle and greater opportunity for use (I have a friend with a farm, e.g.)

I got the MR308. Whats with the Swiss Arms SAPR? What part number is that I don't see SAPR on the swiss arms website. Is it available yet? From where?

Piston or DI?

Di
1. KAC
2.LMT

Piston
1.HK
2 POF

Are there other brands to consider yes.

HK or KAC well that depends on if you want Piston or DI? Both expensive and both shoot really well. Depends on your cash flow?
