H&k mr556/223

THe HK223 has a protrusion in the receiver that disallows the use of FA bolt carrier.

Again, it is a non-issue, since no one is using it for FA.

Then they went and built their new HK steel mag. One of the best mags ever produced for the AR, only to find that it's heavy and when you throw them onto cement and stomp on them during training the feed lips bend

So you mean the HK mags are easy to bend lips on? I have yet to see a H&K mag next to a M16/AR15 mag to see the differences.

Pretty much If(when) I get one I'll be running PMagsV1 in it. Im not a total fan of the Steel mags anyways. But chances are it'll come with one anyways.

I hate to sound like a Fanboy too. But for me it's really just the tacti-coolness of the rifle that makes me want to get one. I have a LMT AR right now and I like it a lot. But it just doesn't scream "HK" or "unique" to it.

I Like having toys that a lot of people don't have, what can I say, I must be an attention whore.

Absolutely nothing wrong with having a gun you like!

some people are ultimately practical and don't care about brands or such focusing on function and such. However there are LOTS of cool guns out there. Don't take my or any other people's comments/preferences as reasons NOT to get what you like!!! It actually is wonderful we can get lots of cool stuff, it just costs money!!! Compare to about 15 years ago when even if you had the money the cool stuff wasn't available.
