My MR223 is deadly accurate, for that configuration it comes in with the 16.5 inch barrel, it is one of the most accurate 223 I have fired for a rifle that comes in a good recce type rifle. Or lets put it this way, it is more accurate than it needs to be for carbine/battle rifle... It seems to work well with a wide range of 223/556 ammo.

It is very smooth, as well it reminded a little of the G36c/k if memory serves me well, but the last time I handle one of those was 5 years ago.....
 
With the safety on, can the rifle still be cocked? Or does the safety impede the hammer/sear relationship?

I have to disagree with you on the safety point. Always being able to place a weapon on safe is a safety advantage. This is a great improvement in the AR firing system. Exactly why is this screwing you or anyone up? Hammer back or forward, doesn't matter, the weapon always goes on safe.

Why put it on safe if it is not ready to fire? Not having a round up the spout is natures safety. A 60 year old manual of arms that works great and avoids "click click s**t" when it matters needs no improvement.
 
Safety on, the rifle can still be cocked, just like nearly all modern designs.

Why not put the safe on if it's not ready to fire? Remember not everyone is an expert with weapons like those on CGN's. When training new shooters there is an advantage to being able to put the gun on safe at any time. For the highly trained it makes no difference. The key point is that this is an improvement of the 60 year old system.

Yep, thats why I like my USC, safety can be on at any time, and gun can still be charged. Not that the AR15 is a 'bad' design, its just fairly simple. HK trigger groups are still a bit.... 'complicated' to me :p (i took everything apart to put my USC internals into my UMP semi-lower, and put everything back together right, and still have no idea how anything works :p)
