I recently purchased a P30L and the trigger breaks crisp but reset travel seems excessive.Has anyone had any experience or know of whom i could send pistol to to have this adjusted? Is there a drop in avail.? Also would love to add a small mag well (who?where?) Anyone looking at this pistol should give some serious consideration, super accurate and mild recoil, fantastic fit and finish as always with HK(great pistol)

Some people do find the reset to be a bit long. But you will get used to it with a bit of practice. Not sure if anyone on this side of the Border is doing HK trigger jobs, but I do know That Wolverine's gunsmith is fairly familiar with HK pistols. You might find some info on trigger work for the P30/P30L at HKPRO.com.

By the way, do you have a V1 or a V3 trigger?

p30L

Ahh a fellow Alberta, It is the V3 series,I am also wondering if it will break in like the Mark23,or the USP series,Ive noticed after @250rds they seem to smooth alittle but no other changes

Yep, it will break in a bit for sure. I have a V1, but had a V3 before it. Great guns! But I would be very if there were a way to shorten the reset for sure.

Where in Alberta are you? I'm guessing Edmonton area?

if I remember correctly,...the trigger return spring, hammer spring and fpb spring can be changed out to lower the trigger pull weight. Match hammer spring, I think basically bending the trs will help to break it in, and the LEM lowest weight fpb spring can help with the trigger.

I don't think you can do much about the reset length, a lot of people have been complaining about it. This is something you can get used to imo with training.

I know GGI can shorten the reset, but I don't know anyone in Canada...

Yep, Bruce Grey could do the job,...not sure if he is fully recovered, but an email to find out how he could help you may stir some information. Horst Wittman of Germany could do it.
