I remember that one...I had just picked up a 9mm P9S the month before so didn't jump on it like I should have. The last P9S Combat that sold on the EE was chambered in .45acp, VG condition, no box, manual or test target went for $500.
It is. It's the 4" barrel that sinks it.Well, you learn something new everyday! I didn't know the P9S was a 12(6) gun and I didn't know they made it in .45ACP!
I thought it was a service pistol sized handgun?
It is. It's the 4" barrel that sinks it.
That's ironic that the P7 which looks way more compact is actually restricted while the P9S is a prohib!!
It depends which P7 variant you have. There are actually 3 FRT table entries for the P7M8 for example. 105mm, 106mm and 107mm. The first is 12(6) and the others are only restricted.
The P9S Combat and Target models came from the factory at 102mm, although there were Sport group Variants and threaded suppressor ready variants with longer 5.5" barrels which are obviously restricted.
My P7M8 was registered as a prohib. Due to the help from the kind folks on here, I submitted pictures with a caliper showing the barrel to be 106mm. They re-classified it as a restricted and I traded it away 2 years ago.
