Does anyone have an idea as to how many of these are in Canada? (Obviously in semi auto only, registered as restricted)

I know there are a few G36's in the country, and I think if memory serves correct a few CGN members (a very, very few) have either a UMP or MP5.

For the lucky few that have one in their safe, was the purchase price close to what the G36's were, i.e. around 6K?

what is the major difference between a semi UMP and the USC other than barrel and mags? Same internals no?

Semi-auto UMP's are restricted. The going price on UMP's seems to be around the 5k mark five or take a k.

I remember that sometime last year a certain Canadian auction site whose url begins with 'G' had a UMP in .40 S&W up for auction. I wonder who the lucky SOB was that had the high bid (U gotta love :( supply and demand)
 
yeah but the USC was in .45...I think the UMP is 9mm, .40, .45? Yeah to bad about the crap stock on the USC..
