So I recently was able to Find A BNIB H&K USC!! So excited to be able to finally find and purchase this fine gun. I am looking forward to converting to a UMP look alike so. From what i read and see i get the gist of the conversion. From what ive been told this is the parts for the conversion i need.

UMP lower receiver http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Safe-Semi-UMP-Lower-2-Position-193p590.htm
UMP-USC stock block http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/USC-UMP-Stock-Block-B-Pin-Style-193p773.htm
UMP buttstock http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/Safe-Semi-UMP-Lower-2-Position-193p590.htm
UMP barrel http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/UMP-USC-Barrel-45-8-Inch-Threaded-16-X-1-LH-195p2634.htm

So to Make sure i order the right things i've made a list of the parts from HKparts.net so i making sure i do this right. I am not sure about a few things though.
1. Do i need a new pin to fit the new block and stock such as this: http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-German-UMP-Lower-Locking-Pin-193p595.htm
2. Where Have you guys got the cooling slots milled out on the hand stock? did u take it to your local gunsmith? did u do it yourself?
3. Did you guys Purchase the 10 Round .45 magazine( http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-USC-45-10-Round-Factory-Magazine-Used-196p16750.htm ) Or did
you purchase a different magazine and had it pinned? im worried about the 10 round mag looking funny and short.

K Also if any of you guys have suggestions for switching the trigger componentes to the new lower i'd love to hear some suggestions or pictures! well thats all my questions I'm hoping to get lots of help from you Ump lovers. As always thanks for your guys help. You people are amazing as always

Id rather have 10 round magazines cause you know... i can have 10 rounds instead of 5. And i just checked they are 140$$ a magazine so id rather find alternatives. Thanks Though
what 10rnd mags? The link you posted are mags for a rifle (USC) and would need to be pinned to 5 at import time.

You can buy those USC mags in your link from irunguns for around $60USD

I apologize everyone. I have a fever and shouldn't of been writing this post this late. I put the wrong link in my post as well. What I should just ask is, is there a better place to purchase 5/25 or 5/whatever round mags that aren't 140$$ each? Is it possible to buy a mag and have it pinned prior to shipping? What's the best option for the mags that u gents have found

as I posted earlier irunguns has themandpin them upon import. In canada the distributor wants $300 each for the factory 5 rounders

Do more research on that matter as everyone above has done or knows of the conversion and what consists of it.

Only option you have for mags once you get the ump lower are the 5/25 round mags. Be it your stuck with expensive mags but it's the only option

In my conversion I stuck with the original lower and went with a Hera Arms grip and ACR stock. I did this so I can:

1. Have an adjustable length of pull which a UMP stock will not. (stock blocks for UMP lowers do exist to take ACR stocks)
2. So that I can stick with the shorter 5/10 rd USC mags which permit prone and bench shots.
