Anyone here thought about rechambering a H&R sportster .17hmr single shot to take the new .17 win super mag? I`m just wondering if it is possible or worthwhile.

It may not be possible due to the FP location... But I reamed two H&R Sportster HMR's to .17 Hornet and fit the barrels to SB2 centerfire frames... They shot very well and ended up selling at the range back when there was a lot of talk about the .17 Hornets but no guns available.
