H&R 20 ga pump built on 12 ga frame?

Hey guys looking at buying one of these H&R 20ga pumps but need to know if it is true that any 870 stock will bolt right on and if so is the H&R 20 built on the same frame?

When I made an inquiry to a local shop I was advised the 12 and 20 share the same frame size. (12 ga) That's why I did not purchase a 20.
