H&R 45/70 with leverevolution ?

Any have a H. & .R Buffalo classic - 32" barrel - in 45/70 & tried the leverevolution rounds ? . They were pretty amazing in my Marlin G.G. with an 18" barrel , very accurate. I've been thinking bout getting the buff, classic & I would love to know how the lev.evol. rounds perform in the longer barrel.

I would also be curious to see how they perform out of H&R's Thumbhole, heavy SS barreled rifle.

I have a marlin 1895 24" barrel in 450 marlin and the leverevolution ammo is very accurate. You may get some extra velocity in that longer barrel as well

Cannot help ya, but I know in my Marlin 1895 45/70 they are very accurate.

My grandpa uses them in his. 1" ish groups at 100 with iron sights and he took 2 deer with them last fall.

anyone else notice the 405 grain seem to kick less than the 325 gr. ?

my Buffalo Classic likes the 325gr LE rounds...haven't tried the 405gr.

They have them in 405gr. ????? I've never seen that.
