So I got this gun and it is aesthetically in decent shape, but damn is she messed up internally!
In single action when cocking the hammer it will intermittently drop to the half ####/safety notch on the hammer. I figure it is just a worn hammer, but find it strange that it doesn't happen consistently. It seems to skip a chamber as well leaving a round in it but then it will fire all chambers the next go, so again it seems intermittent.
In double action the pistol seems to skip over some of the chambers as wel I haven't tested it in double action much so can't give you more than that, and I haven't tested to be sure it is the same chamber/chambers every time. It doesn't seem that it is though, as there was one time I was left with 2 unfired rounds, and others just 1.
Anyone have any clue?
I may just sell it to someone with full disclosure as a project gun, but want to know what I or they need to expect in fixing it.
Is it even worth it, or should I deact it and make a display for it?
