H&R Bolt .22 made by Longbranch?

Has anyone heard of these? Buddy just picked one up clearly stamped with both H&R and Longbranch.

Has anyone heard of these? Buddy just picked one up clearly stamped with both H&R and Longbranch.

H & R opened a plant in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada in 1950, but it was not near Long Branch, Ontario. I am not 100% certain on this, but a couple of fuzzy brain cells rubbed together between my ears and indicated that Long Branch did produce some .22 barrels under a contract basis, but I am unsure right now for whom.

It is best to show pictures of these things, as a picture can show other clues to an identity.
