Bought a brand new H&R 20 gauge.
Sweet shooter. Second shot - front sight bead disappears.
Close inspection with magnifying glass looks like the threads look like the bead sight was either cross threaded or pounded in - no threadloc. Either way, I need to replace.
My questions:
1) I will likely have to re-drill and tap. Any ideas of the drill size, and tap? the barrel thickness is about 0.084" and the hole is about .105" in diameter.
2) I would like to replace with the Truglo bead - as they look sweet, which one (Red or green) do folks prefer, particularly for trap?
Any help will be much appreciated. Don't really need anyone with their POS comments. I am really impressed with this little gun and the fact that it shoots so well and naturally for me. Shot half a box of #4's and target and it is very, very accurate - dead on - without the bead!
