H&R topper in 20 gauge and steel shot????

I have a old .22 hornet/20 ga "survior" model H&R. The 20ga has a modifed choke and it take 3" shells. I purchased a nice montecarlo stock and changed out the ugly "survior" one.

My question is can I use steel shot in this shotgun?

Yep, should be no problem. I have a Single H&R 20 that I got new 24 years ago... been using steel in it for years.

You sure you don't want to just sell or trade that thing??? I know someone looking for one.
