Picked up an H+R heavy barrel single shot in 223 and finding the trigger pull fairly heavy.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these and possibly some advise on easing up the trigger. Are they adjustable?
I have never played with the trigger on one of these and just haven't had time to tear into it yet.
 
Other than careful polishing of the trigger sear & hammer engagement surfaces on this design, there ain't much else to play with as the hammer spring also acts as the trigger spring as well. (Like an AK 47 kinda.)

Mine is a Huntsman muzzleloader from the early 70's & has no transfer bar & no separate trigger return spring.
